Second graders eat lunch at 12:20 each day. Hot
lunch, including a milk, costs $2.25 and children may also buy a milk from the
cafeteria for 65 cents to accompany their cold lunch from home. Students can choose from the daily entrée, a salad, or a sandwich lunch option. You may choose to use the online lunch account system to simplify purchasing lunch and/or breakfast. Click this link for information. Lunch money or checks should be put in a
marked envelop with your child’s name and what the money is for. If you choose to pay with cash or check, you are encouraged to pay for the full week on Mondays. As a part
of children’s morning jobs, they will sign up for lunch and/or snack milk upon
arrival in our classroom.
Snack
We
have a morning snack each day.
Children may purchase a snack and/or milk (65 cents) from the cafeteria. Nutritious snacks promote a healthy learning
environment and are encouraged. Please contact our principal or myself for information on eligibility of the free and reduced lunch/ breakfast/snack program.

Recess
We
have recess each day so it is important to dress
for the weather. Appropriate shoes are
needed for safety on the playground equipment.
Bus notes
If your child is going home differently than he/she usually does, a note is needed. These are collected at the beginning of the day, turned into the office, and bus passes are issued.
